The third step of each session of Deep Roots Confirmation is to engage in creative prayer practices. We do this to give students a variety of ways to talk to God and to listen for God, with the hope that they will find a practice that really works for them. We want to give them a big toolbox of prayer practices to lean on as they grow deeper in their life of faith, and to develop a habit of prayer that will sustain them when the going gets rough.
This year, we are engaging in a practice called Visio Divina. It is the practice of looking for God through visual images. You can engage in this practice by clicking on the image, below.
